Benzyl Peroxide 5% Cream (Custom blended)

This custom 5% benzoyl peroxide cream has been blended in-house following the discontinuation of Obagi’s Therapeutic Lotion. It provides a similar strength of benzoyl peroxide in a leave-on cream base, intended for use under clinical guidance as part of an acne-management regimen.

Benzoyl peroxide works by releasing oxygen into the pore, helping reduce acne-associated bacteria and supporting a clearer-looking complexion over time.

This product is made-to-order and has a lead time of 7-10 days for delivery.

Active ingredient: Benzoyl Peroxide 5% w/w.

Benzoyl peroxide 5%: Antimicrobial active that helps reduce acne-causing bacteria and support clearer skin.

Emollient base: Provides a cream texture designed to be spreadable and comfortable for leave-on use.

Humectants and conditioning agents: Help offset potential dryness and maintain skin comfort.

Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin over the affected area once daily to start. If tolerated, increase to twice daily (morning and/or evening) or as directed by your clinician. Because benzoyl peroxide can cause dryness or peeling, begin with once-daily use and increase gradually. If bothersome dryness occurs, reduce to once daily or every other day and follow with a non-comedogenic moisturiser. Always use a broad-spectrum SPF during the day while using this product. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. Do not use on broken or severely irritated skin. If significant irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use and seek medical advice. Benzoyl peroxide may bleach fabrics and hair.
