FAQs
Medical‑Grade Skincare & Consultations
What does “medical‑grade” skincare mean?
Medical‑grade skincare is formulated with higher concentrations and more advanced actives than standard over‑the‑counter products. It’s developed and tested to deliver visible clinical results and is often used alongside professional treatments such as lasers and peels.
How do I know if a product is right for my skin?
Each product targets specific concerns (pigmentation, sensitivity, acne, lines, texture, hydration). We recommend booking a 20‑minute Skin Check or consulting our detailed product pages, ingredient lists, and “Who it’s for / not for” sections to match your concerns and skin type.
Can I use medical‑grade products if I have sensitive skin?
Yes. Many products (e.g., Obagi, SkinCeuticals, Neova, Sente) are formulated for sensitive or reactive skin when introduced correctly. Always patch‑test and follow our Gradual Introduction guidance. If you’re unsure, choose our Skin Check consultation for a personalised plan.
Do I need a prescription from my doctor to use these products?
Most products are non‑prescription but often recommended or used by dermatologists and aesthetics professionals. For prescription‑only items, we will guide you through the process where required.
Account & Access
Why do I need an account to purchase certain products?
To ensure your safety and skin integrity, specific products require a brief 3‑question skin profile so our team can verify suitability and recommend complementary products. It’s your first step toward a personalised, medically informed routine.
How long does it take to get my account approved?
Most accounts are reviewed within 24–48 business hours. If you don’t hear from us, email or WhatsApp our Skin Concierge (concierge@themethodskin.com / +30 6932653404) quoting your full name and email address.
Can I change my subscription plan or products at any time?
Yes. You can adjust your shipment frequency, skip a month, pause, or cancel your subscription from your account dashboard. We also welcome manual adjustments via the Skin Concierge.

Consultations, Support & Next Steps
How does a Skin Check work and how long does it take?
A 20‑minute Skin Check is a online video call where you discuss your skin concerns, medical history, and current routine. We then send you a personalised product list with their benefits and ongoing support via email, WhatsApp, or text.
How often should I have a follow‑up review?
Most patients benefit from a follow‑up every 2-4 months while introducing new actives and monitors for sun damage and ageing. Our Skin Concierge can schedule these for you automatically.
